First, I know – I’m so late posting my “what’s next” news. Sorry! There were last minute details to be worked out. They’re done now, so I’ll update everyone on what’s next, when, and more TOMORROW, I promise, with an added contest giving away a $50 gift card as a thank-you for your patience.
But before we get to that, I have a very fun event to announce. Author Ilona Andrews will be hosting and participating in a Zoom panel about all things vampire on December 18th, at 1 pm Central Time, along with author Scarlett St. Clair celebrating her recent release of KING OF BATTLE AND BLOOD, as well as Yours Truly.
The Topics
We’re going to cover topics like Vlad Dracula, the origins of vampire myth, the transformation of vampire from monster to hero, the heroines of vampire genre, and so on.
We will be doing Q&A as usual and there will be a spoiler question section at the end. Please submit your questions to all three panelists by emailing Mod R directly at modr@ilona-andrews.com – specifying it’s for the Zoom Q&A please. They don’t need to be questions solely on vampires. As Mod R says, “let your curiosity fly free hehe.”
The panel is set to last 90 minutes.
Registration
We ask you to please Register for this event. This helps us plan our Q&A. Spaces are limited. Once again, the zoom chat will be held on December 18, 1 pm Central Time. Register
Signed Books
We’ve partnered with Bank Square Books for this event. NOTE: because of the pandemic, “signed book” in this case means a book with a signed bookplate in it. Bookplate is a fancy sticker with the author’s signature. If you would like a signed book by one of the three panelists, you can order it through THIS LINK ONLY. *Please Note: Orders will NOT arrive in time for Christmas delivery.*

For complete list of their books, fun extras, and Innkeeper installments, please visit their website at Ilona-andrews.com.
You’re on my page, so you already know who I am, but for fun, I’m going to, ahem, “tweak” my official bio:
Jeaniene Frost no longer looks like her picture, but damned if she’s going to update it any time soon. She likes pretending that she’s still a decade younger and twenty pounds thinner. Jeaniene’s written a bunch of books, mostly featuring vampires, and she can’t believe she’s still lucky enough to be doing this as her job. Jeaniene now lives in Maryland. You thought Florida? She moved. You thought North Carolina? She moved from there, too, back to Florida, no less! And then she moved out of Florida again. For someone who hates to move, she sure keeps doing it. We’ll see how long Maryland lasts. Her friends give it three years, max.
Jeaniene’s long-suffering husband, Matt, is still with her, and she has two very spoiled dogs that she will talk about constantly if you let her. She’ll show you their pictures, too. They’re all she has on her phone, which is why her Instagram page looks like an advertisement for a dog dating site called Canine Mingle. Seriously, the woman’s obsessed with her dogs. Oh, look, there’s another pic of them, but aren’t they so cute when they sleep?!

I have never been to a book signing. Alaska doesn’t have much for that here. We mostly have moose and snow right now. I want to say I love your books . They have been a wonderful escape from the stresses of life. One day I hope to see you at a book signing in the states. But for now I’ll read/listen . By the way tavia Gilbert does an amazing job and she is fantastic. Merry Christmas and happy New Year’s and I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Hi Jeaniene! I’m a HUGE fan of the night prince series. I love it so much I was wondering if you were ever going to do a spin off on Maximus. I would love to read his story and hopefully read a Leila and Vlad appearance. Thank you so much for sharing your paranormal world, it is one of my favorite worlds to escape to.
