Hi everyone! Back when I announced the new NA series that I’m writing, I mentioned that the series title of “Realmwalker” might change. Well, last week I heard from the peeps at HQN that it had indeed been kicked back and a new series title would need to be picked. (Side note: This isn’t unusual. I’d initially called my Cat and Bones books the “Red Reaper” series, but Marketing/Publicity thought that was too horror-ish, so after some brainstorming, we came up with the “Night Huntress” series.)
Anyway, back to the NA series. After many ideas had been suggested and discarded, I took to Twitter to get some help. Lots of you Tweeted me with great suggestions (much better than mine had been! Lol) but of course, only one could be chosen. Bogo_lode from Twitter submitted the suggestion that me, my agent, my new editor, and the Marketing team at HQN loved, so now, my upcoming NA series will be called…
The “Broken Destiny” series. Book one, The Beautiful Ashes, releases September 2014.
I can’t release the back cover description yet – and I SO want to! – but look for more information about this coming soon :).

You know, I have named my cat Vlad Tepesh, because of your Vlad (I even once emailed you pictures of my cat, although I’m sure you’re too busy to have seen it), and I think I’ll make him listen to the audiobook of Once Burned with me. I mean, it’s the story of the character he was named after, which I jokingly call his dad. I can’t wait to listen to it. I’ve already read Once Burned twice on my kindle and I’ve been a huge fan of your Vlad since he first showed up. I waited years to read his book and the wait was totally worth it. I just wished you had named Leila, Barbara, LOL!.
The funny thing is that I have NEVER in my life listened to a audiobook, so yours will be my first. I can’t wait. And I’ll come back to tell you what my Vlad, the cat, thought about it. 😉

PS: My other cat is named Kate Daniels. You and Ilona are my favorite authors and you guys have my all time favorite characters. It’s funny because my Vlad and my Kate kind of date. They usually behave as a couple. It’s way too cute. That’s why I’ve emailed you and Ilona some pics, but I think you never had a chance to see them, because I’m sure you guys get tons of fan mail.
