Popping up from writing because Avon Books is running an ebook promo and I’m happy to say that HALFWAY TO THE GRAVE has been included. So from now until Thursday of next week (June 6th) you can pick up the very first novel in the Night Huntress series for only $1.99. Already read the book and (hopefully :)) enjoyed it? Perhaps tell a friend, if you feel so inclined, since now is a great chance to try the Night Huntress series for minimal cost.
Please note: The $1.99 price is guaranteed only for US residents. Sorry, but as with every other ebook sale, foreign retailers have the right not to match the lower US sale price.
For those interested, here are some ordering links: Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, iTunes.
“Take one half-human/half-vampire female with serious anger and parental issues, add in a sexy ancient vampire with his own agenda, and you have the makings for a truly combustible series.”
– Jill Smith. Romantic Times winner of Best Urban Fantasy novel for 2008.
Now, back to writing Up from the Grave, book seven in the Night Huntress series, coming out January 2014.

I heard this song and it made me think of Mencheres and Kira when they made love under the rollercoaster.

Hi Jeaniene I love your books and while I was re-reading Halfway to the Grave I was wondering will Timothy ever be in the series. We know that he was turned into a vampire and in Spade’s book we learned he went off on his own. So does he ever come into the series?
Apuroopa says

I’m a Jeaniene addict! I have listened to the audiobooks so many times I can mimic Justina saying “I remember barracks, …” And laughing just as hard as the first time I heard it. I have to remember my decorum after driving somewhere, getting out and still wearing a big goofy grin over the books. They bring so much enjoyment to my life!!!
