ETA: The panel slot has been filled! Thank you to everyone who passed the word around.
As the subject line states, this post is addressed to paranormal romance authors attending the Romantic Times convention in 2013: I am running the Paranormal track for 2013 and a spot opened up on The Long Kiss Goodnight panel. Here is the description, date, and time for the panel:
Friday, May 3rd, 10:00am – 11:00am
The Long Kiss Goodnight: Waiting for that HEA: Benefits, drawbacks, and how-to’s of writing a recurring hero/heroine series in paranormal romance where the happily-ever-after doesn’t come in the first book.
Panelists: Pamela Palmer, Molly Harper. Captain: Jeaniene Frost.
Location: Mezzanine Level. Room: Empire A
So, if you currently write an adult paranormal that’s shelved in romance (or you’re contracted but it’s not out yet) and it features the same couple as the protagonists* and you’re attending RT next year and you’d like to be on this panel (lots of “and” ‘s in this, right? :)), then please email me at frostlight1 AT yahoo DOT com with your information.
*Not sure what I mean? In addition to Pamela Palmer’s Vamp City series with Quinn and Arturo and Molly Harper’s Nice Girl series with Jane and Gabriel, here are some other examples:
Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series with Raphael and Elena.
Mary Janice Davidson’s Queen Besty series wtih Eric Sinclair and Betsy.
My Night Huntress series with Cat and Bones.

Jeaniene – We are planning an event at the historic OAKLAWN MANOR in Franklin, Louisiana. The home of former Governor Mike Foster (and my birthplace), he has graciously agreed to host a book signing / Literary Charity Event for the Special Olympics.
The event will take place Mid to Late March 2013. We are inviting authors that have based the settings of their books in Louisiana. We would love to have you attend this event as one of our featured authors.
We did not know how to reach you other than this site to request your attendance, so please accept our apologies for communicating in such a public manner.
To date, we have also sent out invitations to Charlaine Harris, Patricia Briggs and Sherrilyn Kenyon as well. We would like to donate a portion of the proceeds of the book sales to the Special Olympics, a charity near and dear to my heart as the Mother of a Down Syndrome child.
Also an author, I have read many of your books and am a great fan of your work. This event would be perfect timing for your newest release! I do hope that you will accept our offer and not think me a nut for asking. But… if you don’t ask, you don’t get an answer!
Please contact me at the email address included in this post.
Sincerely,
Sonia Taylor Brock
