When Denise is forced by a demon shapeshifter to locate a relative who backed out of a dark deal, she turns to Master vampire Spade for help. Spade swore he’d never fall for a human again, but as they scour the underworld together, his desire for Denise is too great to resist. Once the first drop of crimson falls, however, the true depths of the demons hold over her is revealed…and all of Spades power might not be able to save her.

Wow, totally blown away. Wasn’t too happy to see the last of Cat and Bone’s books and was saddened, but now I am happy because the first chapter was GREAT and the trailer was amazing. Spade has always been awesome-can’t wait to find out more on him. You have some serious skills, Jeaniene!
Jennifer, glad you liked the trailer/chapter for FIRST DROP OF CRIMSON, but the Cat and Bones books are NOT finished. At least three more are scheduled to come out. I’m writing Cat and Bones, book five, right now

AWESOME!!! Excited to read this story! I got into reading Jeanine from her short story about wolves, “PACK” from The Mammoth book of Paranormal Romance – and LOVE the Cat and Bones books! So excited there’s more to come – hope you will maybe think of expanding the Pack storyline as well!

I am a huge fan of the Cat and Bones series and so is my mom. We were so pleased to hear that the series was not over with ‘destined for an early grave’. Will the Spade and Denise book become a series as well I hope?
I love the Night Huntress Series. I’ve read about Cat and Bones from the beginning and am so happy they are together. I also just finished reading First Drop of Crimson for the second time and I LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT!!! I am so happy for Denise for finding true love again and to see Spade smiling is a real treat. Really looking forward to the next one and I hope that you never stop writing this series. It’s to good to let end.
I’ve loved all the night huntress books and i love First Drop of Crimson even more! I wish you could just continue the series from their point of view but I know you can’t. You have to write the other spinoff and the other 3 books in the Night Huntress Series.

I don’t get it! Why did JeanF write another book, instead of finishing the first series? or is it all completed and this is the next series? if so, have they released all the first series book already?? cant find them!! only found up to 5!!
Susan, the Night Huntress series with Cat and Bones is not over. There are four books out now, and there will be at least another three books out later.
